History of Ensnaring Slam

Overview

Ensnaring Slam is a Strand Aspect for the Hunter class in the Threadrunner subclass. It focuses on suspending enemies rather than on mobility alone.

Effect

Activating your air move consumes class ability energy and dives you to the ground, suspending all nearby targets on impact. Using it extends your class ability cooldown. Equipping the Aspect unlocks 2 Strand Fragment slots.

Compatible Fragments include Thread of Continuity, which lengthens suspend, unravel and sever effects, and Thread of Mind, which grants class ability energy for each suspended target defeated.

Acquisition

Purchase it from the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes using Strand Meditations. Owners of Lightfall unlock Strand after completing the campaign and speaking with Nimbus.
