History of Enraged

Enraged is the wipe condition in Atheon's fight in the Vault of Glass. If the team fails to kill Atheon during its fourth damage phase, it enrages and wipes the team.

Avoiding it

Each damage phase opens with the Time's Vengeance buff, which lasts about 30 seconds and greatly increases the damage Atheon takes. Once it ends, Atheon becomes immune and the cycle resets. Use Supers and Grenades during the phase, since they recharge quickly, and keep the Glass Throne stage in mind for the sequence of plates and portals.

Notes

The enrage timing comes from older guides. A later Destinypedia overview of the raid does not describe an enrage timer, so confirm against a current walkthrough.
