History of Enhancement Cores

Overview

Enhancement Cores is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that tracks the completion of Gunsmith bounties. Enhancement Cores are the material used to enhance gear, and the triumph's objective is to complete the Gunsmith bounties that award them.

How to complete

1. Visit Banshee-44 in the Tower and complete the Gunsmith bounties. Each completed bounty gives one core, and there are four per character per day, so every character you run adds four a day.
2. Run Lost Sectors on Legend or Master difficulty, which give several cores each.
3. Dismantle gear for cores. Weapons of Tier 4 or higher give cores, up to seven for a masterworked weapon. Armor at Tier 7 gives one core and up to seven at Tier 10.
4. Use the fast method: raise a blue-quality armor piece to level 8 and dismantle it for six cores. Guides describe this as the simplest way to turn Enhancement Prisms into cores.
5. Other sources include Empire Hunts, Nightfall and Trials random-match rewards, and the weekly Clan Challenge, which gives seven per character after reaching clan rank 4 and earning 5,000 clan XP.
