History of Empty Threads

Overview

Empty Threads is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective is to defeat targets with Void or Strand damage. Progress is tracked toward a total of 77,000.

Final blows made with abilities, and kills on Guardian opponents, count for more progress than a standard kill.

How to complete

Defeat targets using Void or Strand damage until the progress bar reaches 77,000. The total is high, so treat this as a long-running triumph and build kills into normal activities. Kills that use abilities as the final blow and kills against Guardian opponents are the faster routes to progress.

Strand kills can also set up Strand effects. Defeating a target with a Strand debuff, such as Suspend, Sever or Unravel, unwinds it into a Tangle. Suspend lifts and immobilizes a target, Sever cuts its outgoing damage, and Unravel makes unraveled projectiles that seek nearby enemies as the target takes damage.
