Overview

"Elementary, My Dear" is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that is listed among the secret triumphs. It asks you to complete a timed Deepsight puzzle, and its objective counts the Deepsight chests you open. It awards 25 Score.

How to complete

1. Find a timed Deepsight puzzle. Players report that you click a Deepsight to start it.
2. Open the chest the puzzle reveals. The chest is either behind a newly exposed hidden nook or at the end of newly revealed platforms that you need to jump to.
3. Finish the puzzle inside its time limit. Each chest opened from a puzzle counts toward the objective.
4. If no puzzle appears, a Bungie forum poster reported that returning to orbit and re-entering the area did not bring one back.

Tips

• The companion triumph Disbelieve asks for chests opened from timed Deepsight puzzles, so the two progress together.
• Bungie forum threads report that progress did not update for some players even after the puzzles were finished, and that some puzzles never appeared for them. No official fix is listed in those threads.
