History of Ecthar

Ecthar, the Shield of Savathûn is the opening boss of Ghosts of the Deep (as Alone in the Deep shows). A former high-ranking member of Oryx's court beaten aboard the Dreadnaught, he was resurrected as a Lightbearer in Savathûn's Lucent Brood. Break his Sentinel Shield and use symbols to damage him; destroy his Ghost to finish him for good. He uses Arc weapons and Void grenades.
