History of Eaton

Overview

'''Eaton''' is a small, isolated settlement on Earth, founded after the Collapse during the Dark Age in a valley where it went unnoticed by the Warlords during their early campaigns.

Massacre

Lord Dryden of the Iron Lords offered Eaton's households weeks of food in exchange for sheltering there and luring the Red Man. The Red Man arrived with five other Warlords, a firefight broke out with the Iron Lords, and all of Eaton's residents were killed. Only Germaine, later known as Wu Ming, survived.

Loose Ends

In Loose Ends pt. III, Wu Ming learns that Dryden was the only Iron Lord to survive the battle, that he broke the Iron Decree by using the town as bait, and that he covered it up. Wu Ming meets Lord Felwinter at the Iron Temple to expose Dryden and seek his execution.

The town's huntsman, Judson, opposed the Iron Lords' deal before the attack.
