History of ENTRY 12 - Debtor's Knife

Overview

ENTRY 12 - Debtor's Knife is a triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Captain's Log entry of the same name. The entry is a Captain's Log reading added in Season of the Chosen on 16 February 2021. Narrated by Gilgamesh, who is weary of protecting Katabasis and decides to end their shared existence. He urges Katabasis to sever their Light so the Scorn cannot kill him. When Katabasis refuses and reaches for his rifle, Gilgamesh shoots him, and the entry ends with the Ghost gone.

How to complete

Captain's Log entries like this one were unlocked by completing the Presage Exotic mission each week, according to Destinypedia. Presage needs the quest The Voice on the Other Side first. The Destiny 2 Wiki says Presage moved into the Destiny Content Vault with The Witch Queen and was slated to return in Season 22 as part of an Exotic mission rotator. Those sources are dated, so check the current rotator before planning. Each weekly Presage completion also dropped one Dead Man's Tale per character.
