History of Dusklight Shard

Overview

Dusklight Shards are an uncommon planetary material from the European Dead Zone (EDZ), first appearing with Episode: Revenant. In the EDZ they come from Loot Caches and from patrol, and they can be bought from the Spider at the Tangled Shore.

Acquisition

• Loot Caches: the EDZ cache rewards Dusklight Shards. Other destinations reward different materials.
• Patrol: the shards can be harvested from nodes in the EDZ. One guide suggests farming around Maevic Square near Trostland.
• Spider: the Spider at the Tangled Shore sells them.

Uses

• Turn them in to Devrim Kay in Trostland for reputation with the EDZ faction.
• Trade them to the Spider for other materials, or buy Upgrade Modules from Banshee-44 or Ada-1.
• They count toward EDZ challenges that ask for 10 Dusklight Shards or Dusklight Crystals.
• The Tributes bought from the Visage of Calus ended when the Tribute Hall was removed with Beyond Light.

The sources do not state how many shards a cache yields. Some of this information is from older guides, so check the current game.
