History of Dunk Tanks

Overview

Dunk Tanks is a triumph worth 20 points, tied to the Ketchcrash strike from Season of Plunder. It appears among the Season of Plunder triumphs. It is separate from the Degenerate triumph, which asks you to destroy the shield generators in the same area.

How to complete

1. Start Ketchcrash. Launch the Ketchcrash strike and get through the early encounters to the Maintenance Bay.
2. Take down the first Spider Tank. The timer starts when the second Spider Tank appears, so the first one should already be on its way down before then.
3. Finish the Maintenance Bay within one minute of the second tank's appearance. The triumph is about pace: clear the first tank quickly and be ready for the second.

Spider Tank tips

A 2022 Ketchcrash guide describes a hangar-style room where two Spider Tanks spawn opposite each other with a platform between them. Its method is:

1. Shoot the tank's legs until it collapses and exposes its core.
2. Kill the Fallen waves while the tank is down. A shielded tank then has beams running to purple domes, and a Fallen Scorch Captain spawns and is marked on the HUD.
3. Kill the Scorch Captain and collect the Scorch Cannon it drops.
4. Hit all six domes with the cannon to break the shield, then finish the tank while the shield is down.
5. If the cannon runs out or the tank survives the phase, repeat until it dies.

The guide does not name the Maintenance Bay, so treat the room's layout as a general guide. Domes do not repair if a tank is not finished within one phase, so keep ammo and abilities ready. Grab the Raid Banner before the doorway to restock.
