History of Drifter's Pieces

Overview

Drifter's Pieces is a Triumph worth 5 Triumph Score. It asks you to collect strange chess pieces from the Drifter. The Drifter holds five of the 60 chess pieces. Collecting all 60 unlocks a separate triumph, The Opening, and some Strange Coins.

How to complete

1. Collect the other pieces first. Most of the 60 pieces are spread across the Tower, Europa, the European Dead Zone, Eris Morn's apartment, the Court of Blades, The Nether and Taken Path rewards. One piece sits near the Drifter and another is hidden in a secret common room from year one.
2. Visit the Drifter. He is in the Annex of the Tower, between the Landing Zone and Ada-1. Visiting him is enough to read his inventory.
3. Turn in pieces from his inventory. The pieces you collect go into his inventory. He hands his five pieces out one at a time, so after each batch, check his inventory again and repeat until all five are yours.
