History of Dreambane Helm

Overview

Dreambane Helm is a Legendary Titan helmet piece of the Dreambane armor set (the set also has Hunter, Titan and Warlock pieces), from the Exploring the Moon source. It is Titan armor. The Dreambane set is ancient lunar gear infused with the essence of Nightmares by Eris Morn, and every piece has a mod slot for armor mods that ward against and boost damage against Nightmare enemies. It debuted with Shadowkeep and is reissued for the Moon.

Acquisition

• Cleanse Essence of Pride at the Lectern of Enchantment on the Moon, buying the essence with Phantasmal Cores. The essence quest task: Defeat 30 Nightmares outside the Moon (for example in Lost Sectors on other planets). Essences do not expire and can be farmed repeatedly, giving lower-stat rolls.
• Once all five essences are cleansed, a dismantled piece can be bought again from Eris Morn or the Lectern.
• Per TheGamer, as of Season of the Splicer the only way to get high-stat Dreambane armor was the Pit of Heresy dungeon, with typical totals in the low to mid 60s. This may be outdated under later armor systems.

Set

Pieces are rolled with random perks. See also Dreambane Cloak (Hunter class item). Sources agree on the five essences (Pride, Isolation, Fear, Anguish, Despair) giving helmet, arms, chest, legs and class item.
