Overview
'''Divine Slayer''' is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that asks you to defeat bosses in Rushdown, the boss-rush activity of Guardian Games. The game data tracks Bosses (0/50), so progress comes from boss kills across Rushdown runs.
How to complete
- Open the current Guardian Games event and queue for Rushdown. Pick a difficulty: Warm-up, Standard or Expert. Higher modes bring tougher combatants and modifiers, along with better rewards.
- Each Rushdown run is a gauntlet of five boss battles. Difficulty rises after every boss, and a time limit applies, with time added for each encounter you finish.
- Count every boss you defeat toward the 50 total. Five bosses per clean run means about ten complete runs if you beat every boss in each one.
- Use revive tokens sparingly. Standard and Expert modes provide them, and the run score rises when you limit their use and finish encounters quickly.
Tips
- Queue as a fireteam for steady clears. Random matchmaking is available, but a set group keeps the time limit under control.
- Expect some bosses to be harder than others. One guide singles out Quria, Blade Transform as a tough fight: the team must keep moving, break the rotating shields and diamonds that provide cover, and handle the detainment bots and Disintegration Protocols.
- The boss pool changes between events. Check the current rotation before a session so you know which fights you will face.
Rewards
Rushdown rewards depend on performance. Weekly Rushdown performance earns armor glows, and the event also offers the Champ title and seal.
