History of Distortion Breach

Overview

A Distortion Breach is an optional public event from the Monument of Triumph update, tied to the Distortions system. It starts in areas where a regular public event has been completed on a destination with a Distortion. Its objective is to repel waves of distorted combatants. Completing it gives Strange Matter, and collecting 50 of it turns into a Strange Signal for the Distortions quest. The quest ends at a Distortion Chest.

Sources disagree on how often Distortions move. ProGameTalk says hourly, and GamesHedge says "periodically".
