History of Dire Promise

Dire Promise is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon with the flavor text "If you think this world ends well, you are mistaken." —Arach Jalaal.

Overview

Destiny Game Wiki lists it as a Lightweight Frame hand cannon at 150 RPM with an 11-round magazine. Its curated roll has Triple Tap and Swashbuckler; random rolls include Opening Shot, Snapshot Sights, Overflow, Rangefinder and Under Pressure. Destinypedia, a stub on this item, gives 140 RPM and ties it to the Dead Orbit faction, so the sources differ on rate of fire.

Acquisition

Originally available from Arach Jalaal during Faction Rallies (Season 1) and re-issued in Season 10 as a Legendary engram drop. Neither source says it is craftable; Adept status is not stated.
