History of Devourer of Tainted Light

Overview

The Devourer of Tainted Light is a corrupted War Beast infused with Dark Ether. It is one of the major boss fights in the cave of the Wild Card mission, an Exotic mission from The Final Shape. Wild Card has the Guardian investigate Dark Ether corruption spreading through the area, which the Witness is believed to be experimenting with.

The mission's other encounters include the Hoarder of Tainted Light, a Fallen boss, and a final fight against Lii'liks, a Scorn Abomination that is the main source of the corruption. Completing Wild Card rewards the Still Hunt Exotic sniper rifle. The mission can only be completed once per account.
