History of Desperate Measures

Overview

Desperate Measures is the eighth and final story mission of Destiny 2: Lightfall, set on Neomuna. It unlocks after Headlong. It supports 1-3 players and has Normal, Expert, Advanced, Master and Legendary difficulty. The recommended Power is 1750, the soft cap at the time; the mission is among the campaign's hardest and can take half an hour or more.

Encounters

1. Head to the Irkalla Complex and destroy anti-air guns by using Strand grapple on flying Cabal Threshers.
2. Secure turrets and kill tanks with an untested Ishtar Collective weapon.
3. Defend the vault entrance against Shadow Legion waves and Imprint of Nezarec Tormenters.
4. Head to the Veil and fight Calus, the Disciple, who is empowered by The Witness and switches from ranged to melee after losing health; watch the edges, as you can be thrown off.

Rewards

Unlocks the quest "Unfinished Business" and the Void Exotic machine gun Deterministic Chaos; also see the Lightfall campaign completion.
