History of Delicate Tomb Catalyst

Overview

Delicate Tomb Catalyst is a Triumph obtained from the The Form of the Danger quest. It requires the player to defeat 700 combatants while using the Delicate Tomb exotic. The catalyst is the upgrade for that exotic, and the triumph tracks the "Targets defeated" objective.

How to complete

1. Unlock Delicate Tomb. The Delicate Tomb is a Season 18 pass reward. Paid pass holders get it immediately, and free pass players reach it at level 35.
2. Start the quest. Visit Banshee-44 in the Tower to pick up The Form of the Danger.
3. Step 1. Score kills with any weapon using Special ammo, and defeat challenging enemies such as minibosses and champions.
4. Step 2. Complete playlist activities (Crucible, Gambit or Vanguard Ops strikes) and score kills with Delicate Tomb. Final blows on Guardians progress fastest, and Nightfalls or wins speed things up.
5. Step 3. Return to Banshee-44 in the Tower to receive the Catalyst.
6. Get 700 kills. Score 700 kills with Delicate Tomb to complete the triumph. Rally banners keep ammo full while farming.

Once slotted, the Catalyst makes picking up an Ionic Trace reload Delicate Tomb's magazine from its reserves, so you skip the reload animation.
