History of Deeper Pockets

Overview

Deeper Pockets is a Catalyst perk and Exotic Trait that increases a weapon's ammo reserves. Sources do not give a specific reserve amount. It appears on six Exotics, each unlocked by upgrading that weapon's Catalyst: Telesto, Legend of Acrius, The Colony, The Prospector, Sleeper Simulant and Tractor Cannon.

Catalysts

Deeper Pockets is the perk of each listed Exotic's Catalyst. On the Telesto Catalyst it comes with a +3 magazine size bonus. Telesto's Catalyst is obtained from Expert or Master Lost Sectors, and upgrading it requires 300 kills with Telesto. Blueberries lists Deeper Pockets as the Catalyst's perk from before Episode: Heresy. Update 8.2.0 (2025) later added a second Telesto Catalyst effect, Harbinger Vestiges, alongside it.

Acquisition

Each Catalyst is earned with its parent Exotic and unlocked through the weapon's kill requirement. Check the current Catalyst requirements in-game, as older guides may list outdated methods.
