History of Deconstruct

Overview

Deconstruct is a Basic Trait from Season of the Wish (Season 23). Sustained damage adds bonus damage against vehicles and constructs and partially refills the magazine.

Constructs are barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals and other objects created in the field. Hits with primary ammo and hits on constructs also earn extra progress toward the effect.

It rolls on about 37 weapons.

Reception

A ranking of the six new Season of the Wish perks put Deconstruct last, calling its use cases close to zero in both PvE and PvP and noting that better perks exist for refilling the magazine.

Tips and synergy

Deconstruct is strongest where its magazine refill and construct damage matter, such as in fights with many constructs. Otherwise it competes with better trait options on the same weapon.
