History of Deck of Whispers

The Deck of Whispers is a tarot-style card system in Season of the Witch, said to be created as a result of Eris Morn becoming the Hive God of Vengeance; it reflects her challenge to Xivu Arath and the Sword Logic. Opaque Cards are found in Savathûn's Throne World and identified at the Lectern of Divination. Major Arcana (12) expand the deck; Minor Arcana (43 per Destiny 2 Wiki, 44 per Destinypedia) give smaller bonuses, materials or extra tests. Before each seasonal encounter in Savathûn's Spire or the Altars of Summoning a card is drawn and buffs every fireteam member; duplicate draws amplify it, and Whispers of Power cards allow redraws.
