History of Dawning Gift

A Dawning gift is the reward from the Dawning Surprise origin trait, which can roll only on Dawning event weapons. Rapidly defeating targets awards a gift, and powerful targets count as more than one kill. Giving cookies to NPCs also awards one.

The gift goes to your inventory. You can open it for a random reward, or spend it in weapon focusing for Dawning weapons, which requires the Giftwrapped or Limited Exchange Ticket upgrades from Eva Levante. It is an inventory item used as a focusing cost rather than a currency, and it is separate from Dawning Spirit.
