'''Darkness Encroaching''' is the timed effect in Legend and Master Lost Sectors that removes a player's revives after a set time.

Overview

The timer runs for 15 minutes. Once it passes that mark, the player loses all of their revives. Revives are normally gained by killing a Champion or a Lightbearer Hive enemy, which grants one revive token each. Reaching the mark also puts a "No Revives Remaining" warning on screen when the player is out of revives, and the Darkness Zone tendrils and sound play at that point, as added in patch 3.4.0.
