History of Darkness's Refuge

Overview

Darkness's Refuge is a buff from the Nezarec encounter in the Root of Nightmares raid. Standing in it for about 15 seconds protects you from Nezarec's team-wipe mechanic, but not from attacks.

Acquisition

You create it by taking a Field of Light buff to an inactive Dark node, which you shoot while the buff is active. It is needed when Nezarec's shoulder breaks dark. The opposite buff is the Light's Refuge.

The color cue is described differently between sources. Gamerant ties blue to the Light Refuge and orange to the Darkness Refuge, while Shacknews ties a dark shoulder to the Darkness's Refuge.
