History of Curse Cycle

Overview

The Curse Cycle is the three-week rotation of the Riven's curse over the Dreaming City from Forsaken. The curse runs weak, then stronger, then strongest, and resets to weak. Petra Venj shows the current stage by where she stands: the eastern Strand when weak, the Divalian Mists when stronger, and western Rheasilvia when strongest.

Week one is quiet, week two brings Taken rain, and week three brings giant Taken orbs before the cycle resets.

Ascendant Chests

Each week has ten hidden Ascendant Chests, 30 in total across the cycle. The set that spawns depends on the curse's strength, and the chests are tied to the Hidden Riches, Bolder Fortunes and War Chests triumphs.
