History of Cruel Electrum Grips

Overview

Cruel Electrum Grips is a Legendary Hunter Gauntlets piece in the Armor category, part of the Cruel Electrum set.

The Cruel Electrum set is a Trials of Osiris armor set. Its 2-piece bonus, Primary Survivor, raises handling, reload speed, target acquisition and reduces flinch for Primary weapons when an ally is defeated; the bonus grows when several allies are down or when you are solo. Its 4-piece bonus, Primary Phantom, removes you from Radar for a short time after a Primary final blow, and drawing a weapon that does not use Primary ammo ends it.

The item carries the flavor text: "You've sunk enough time into circles. Consider the enduring legacy of the pyramid." —Osiris to Ikora Rey

Acquisition

Dropped from Trials of Osiris. Sources differ on the route: one reports Trials Engrams and end-of-match score rewards as the drop pool, and another ties Trials armor to Lighthouse visits. The set is tied to the Monument of Triumph update, and some listings tag it as Season 28 gear while others tag it as Season 29.
