History of Crucible Hotshot

Revision 9570 by archivist at 2026-10-01 23:51:55

Crucible Hotshot is a 15-point triumph for earning the Crucible ornament ("Finale") for the Ascendancy rocket launcher, the Season of the Lost ritual weapon.

How to complete

  1. Reach the top Valor rank (Legend) in the Crucible to unlock Ascendancy itself (rank 16 with Lord Shaxx in the vendor-rank version of the guide; Strikes and Gambit also work for the weapon).
  2. Reset your Crucible rank once.
  3. Reach Legend / max rank a second time during the season. This unlocks the Finale ornament.

Tip from TheGamer: farm Crucible Valor or Vanguard Strikes; losing Gambit matches at higher ranks gives much less progress. Note the ornament had to be earned in-season per the sources; whether it is still obtainable today is unconfirmed.

The other two ornaments are Fulfillment (Vanguard) and Fruition (Gambit).
