History of Crowned by Dragons

Overview

Crowned by Dragons is a buff in the Starcrossed Exotic mission. It is formed by combining two buffs, Sire's Obligation and Dam's Gift, which are granted by stepping into the blue and orange paracausal sparks in the mission.

With Crowned by Dragons active you can enter the orange mist and damage the enemies inside it. Without the buff the arena damages you, so keep refreshing it, since sparks in the arena can renew it. Reported durations are 44 to 45 seconds.

Where it matters

The Obdurate Phalanx encounters are only damageable inside the orange mist, so the buff must be active when you fight them, and the shielded Phalanx enemies must be cleared in the order the runes indicate. It is also required for the Akardon boss fight.
