History of Crossfire

Crossfire is the weekly Root of Nightmares raid challenge for the second encounter, Scission. The triumph is worth 10 points.

How to complete

You may only cross the chasm by using a launcher that a teammate on the opposite side activates. Nobody may shoot the launcher crystal on their own side.

1. Split into two sides at the launchers on each of the three floors.
2. Have the opposite side shoot the crystal to launch the runners across.
3. Do not use alternative crossings such as Eager Edge.

Tips: two runners communicating with four teammates controlling adds is the suggested approach; launchers can be inconsistent. Dedicated pad-shooters only work on Normal, as Master adds an Unstoppable Incendior and Anti-Barrier Colossi on later floors.

Rewards

Normal: an extra chest with Scission loot. Master: a guaranteed Adept weapon, the Adept Acasia's Dejection (GameRant). KeenGamer only says an Adept weapon with stat boosts.

The challenge rotates weekly, so it is only available in its rotation week.
