Overview

Crimson Days was a Valentine's Day themed seasonal event in Destiny 2, centered on Crimson Doubles, a 2v2 Crucible playlist: a round-based take on Clash. The first run was February 13-20, 2018, on the new map The Burnout.

Mechanics

Play with a partner (the matchmaker pairs solo players). Staying near your partner speeds ability recharge; separating gives opponents a waypoint on you.

Rewards (2018)

Crimson Engrams dropped from any activity. Items: Crimson Days Emblem and Tirastrella Ghost Shell (five matches), Undeterred Exotic Sparrow, Dieselpunk ornament for Wardcliff Coil (finish the Leviathan raid or Eater of Worlds), and the Flaunting dance emote (a Nightfall). Later years added items such as The Vow bow, per a search summary.

Status

Bungie later discontinued the event, saying it had been missing the mark on quality (Windows Central headline and search summary; article body could not be opened).
