History of Crimson

Crimson is an Exotic Kinetic Hand Cannon introduced in Curse of Osiris. Its intrinsic perk Banned Weapon fires three-round bursts (415 RPM, 8-round magazine), making it the only burst-fire hand cannon. Its Exotic trait Cruel Remedy heals you on kills and refills the magazine on precision kills. It resembles the Red Death pulse rifle.

Catalyst

Earned by precision kills with Crimson, which also masterworks it. It adds +18 Range (a 2020-era figure) and the perk To the Pain, which raises handling and aim assistance after taking damage.
