History of Counterattack

Overview

Counterattack is a Legendary Trait from Season 7. Blocking an attack right after guarding increases the weapon's damage by 50% for a short window.

The window was 5 seconds originally. Patch 2.8.0 shortened it to 2 seconds and changed the activation requirements.

Where it rolls

Counterattack rolls on about ten weapons, including Sola's Scar (Adept), Throne-Cleaver, Honor's Edge, Razor's Edge, Death's Razor and Thin Precipice. It suits weapons used in a guard-and-counter rhythm, where you block an attack and follow up before the bonus expires.
