History of Consensus

Overview

The Consensus is the ruling body of the Last City, formed at the end of the Faction Wars as an alliance of the City's factions with the Vanguard. It lets factions pursue their agendas through legal, civil channels and makes decisions on the City's security and public order.

Structure

Each faction and Vanguard order has one representative. The Speaker led it; after his death in the Red War, Commander Zavala became acting head.

Status

After Season of the Splicer, the City factions left or disbanded and the Vanguard took over political government; the Consensus's fate is unclear.
