History of Conditional Finality

Overview

Conditional Finality is an Exotic Shotgun from the Root of Nightmares raid (Season 20). It fires 55 RPM with a two-round magazine. Its intrinsic perk Split Decision fires one Stasis barrel, which freezes, and one Solar barrel, which ignites. The curated roll has Shortened Barrel, Alloy Magazine and Textured Grip. It is useful against Unstoppable and Anti-Barrier Champions.

Acquisition

• It drops only from Nezarec, the final boss of Root of Nightmares. Reported baseline drop rates are about 3% to 5% per character per week; completing the Dream Warrior seal triumphs raises it, up to 30%.
• Reclaim from the Exotic Kiosk once collected.

Catalyst

The catalyst was added with the Monument of Triumph update on June 9, 2026. It drops randomly from completing the Root of Nightmares raid and adds the perks Heal Clip (reloading shortly after a final blow grants Cure to you and nearby allies) and Rimestealer (destroying a Stasis crystal or defeating a frozen target grants Frost Armor). Complete the catalyst's in-game target-defeat objective to unlock it.
