History of Conceptual Mind

The Conceptual Mind is a Sol Divisive Vex Mind that, after direction from the Witness, created the Black Heart. It is the boss of What Remains, the eleventh step of the Unfinished Business Exotic quest in Lightfall, set in the Black Garden (1-3 players, recommended Power 1770).

Fight

It retreats behind shielded gateways several times, so you must break the barriers before continuing. Abilities include summoning reinforcements, a rotating shield, Temporal Shockwave and a Void Aeon Maul. One guide calls it a three-phase Hydra with a three-section health bar; avoid falling into the radiolarian fluid in the last phase.

Story

During the Invasion of Neptune the Witness sent the Taken to destroy evidence of it and the Black Heart; Guardians and the Neomuni defeated both and recovered its memory core for Osiris. Completing the quest rewards Deterministic Chaos.
