History of Competitive Spirit

Competitive Spirit is the quest objective used in the Competitive Catalyst quest for Heir Apparent, the Guardian Games exotic. It is earned by defeating combatants with Machine Guns in the Daily Focus playlist, and precision final blows give bonus progress.

The quest has four steps: obtaining the quest by depositing Medallions, earning 50 points from Medallions, completing 3 Contender Cards, and collecting Competitive Spirit. Once the catalyst is obtained, it requires weapon kills to unlock. Reported kill requirements range from 500 to 700 (2025).
