History of Commander and Cartographer

Overview

Commander and Cartographer is a Season of Plunder (Season 18) triumph: "Gather Map Fragments from Ketchcrash chests." It was listed in the General section of the season's triumphs by Shacknews. It is not one of the triumphs the Scallywag seal requires, and it is no longer obtainable now that the season has ended (Scallywag's own page notes the season ran 23 August to 6 December 2022).

How to complete

1. Open Ketchcrash from the H.E.L.M. in the Destinations tab (TheGamer).
2. Clear your ship's deck and fire the cannons, board the enemy ship, and defeat the boss captain (TheGamer's phase breakdown).
3. Open the chest at the end. Ketchcrash is the source of Map Fragments; Shacknews says a completion awards them, and other guides say roughly 10 per run. Repeat runs until the triumph's tracker fills.
4. Map Fragments combine with Treasure Coordinates in the Captain's Atlas to restore Treasure Maps, which you then dig up in an Expedition.

Unconfirmed

The exact fragment total the tracker wants is not in the pages I opened (the in-game objective list is empty).
