History of Come Out and Play

Come Out and Play is a The Menagerie triumph worth 20 triumph score: defeat Pagouri, Beloved by Calus after luring it to each Vex plate only once.

How it works

Per Destinypedia, the fight revolves around Sync Plates. The team defends an active plate (Vex adds stepping on it stall progress) to drop Pagouri's shield barrier. Pagouri then teleports to the plate that was last activated and the team has roughly 40 seconds to damage it before it retreats behind its shield again. It defends with leftover adds (Minotaurs and Harpies), its Void Aeon Maul and Harpy Seekers; more adds and plates appear as its health drops.

Tips (inferred from the mechanics, not confirmed by a triumph guide)

  • The triumph needs each plate used once, so Pagouri must be brought to every plate exactly one time. Keep track of which plate each damage phase used, and avoid triggering a repeat plate.
  • Dealing enough damage in each phase matters, since extra phases mean extra plate visits; a search result summary suggested dealing about a third of its health per damage phase, but I could not open that page to verify.
  • Rewards: a search snippet mentioned 500 Imperials; unconfirmed. Which seal it counts toward is also unconfirmed.

Note: The Menagerie has been out of rotation in later years; check in-game whether the activity is currently available.
