History of Coldheart Catalyst

Overview

Triumph for the Coldheart Exotic trace rifle catalyst. Objectives: insert the catalyst (0/2) and defeat 500 enemies with Coldheart.

How to complete

1. Find the catalyst: random drop from Heroic or Nightfall strikes; harder strikes and enemies give better odds, so higher Nightfall difficulties are ideal.
2. Insert it, then get 500 kills with Coldheart. Reported kill requirements differ: 500 now, 300 in older sources.
3. Coldheart uses Special ammo, so a Special ammo finder mod speeds the grind.

Rewards

The masterworked catalyst gives about +18 Stability and Reload Speed and orb generation on multikills. Some sources list only Stability and Reload Speed.
