History of Close Encounters

Close Encounters is a Crucible Medal: defeat two opponents at close range with a Shotgun without switching weapons or reloading.

How to complete

1. Equip a Shotgun and get two final blows in a row, with no reload and no weapon swap between them.
2. Both kills must be close range. Per a Bungie forum answer, a lightweight-frame shotgun in regular Control keeps its kill range within the requirement, whereas slug shotguns or very high damage modes (e.g. Momentum Control) can kill beyond the range threshold.
3. Shacknews lists it among the easier weapon medals.
