History of Cloak of the Exile

Overview

The Cloak of the Exile is a Legendary Hunter Cloak from the Hunter Exile set, the Trials of Osiris armor released in Season 10. Its flavor text is the Speaker's-chambers quote from Brother Vance: "They who entered the Speaker's chambers as master and apprentice were bitter rivals when they left."

The Hunter Exile set is Cover of the Exile, Grips of the Exile, Vest of the Exile, Boots of the Exile and the Cloak of the Exile. Pieces have no elemental affinity.

Acquisition

The Cloak of the Exile comes from Trials of Osiris: the reward on the 3rd, 5th and 7th win, the chest given for a Flawless run, and Saint-14 Trials Engrams made by turning in Trials Tokens.

Trials armor from Episode: Heresy is earned from Lighthouse chests (repeatable Trials armor x1 on each visit, plus a 3-win weekly streak reward), from challenges such as winning 50 rounds or seven games, and from the Flawless Passage chest after a 7-win streak. Armor only drops from engrams once it has been unlocked this way (Trials Engrams at Saint-14 also return previously collected Trials gear).
