History of Clipse

Overview

The Clipse are an alien species that became part of Emperor Calus's Cabal Loyalist faction. Once a peaceful technological civilization, a gamma-ray burst destroyed their technology and world, and they militarized over millennia to survive. Absorbed into the Cabal Empire, they rejected Calus's cultural offerings; after failed help from Dominus Ghaul, Calus conquered their moon, Kaga-Clipse, and decided to end their war by incinerating the planet. Survivors were brought aboard his ship, the Leviathan.

Notable Clipse

Rull, Gun of Kaga-Clipse, led a team onto the Leviathan, was offered an alliance by Calus and became one of his Shadows. See Mask of Rull and the Rull armor set.

Discrepancy

Destinypedia's Calus article also says Calus put down the Clipse as an alien threat during his reign before allying with them in exile.
