History of Claws of Ahamkara

Overview

Claws of Ahamkara are Exotic Warlock gauntlets. The intrinsic perk, The Whispers, grants an additional melee charge. The Destiny 2 version is a Season 3 (Warmind-era) exotic and a return of the original Destiny gauntlets of the same name, which were a Xûr item from The Dark Below that cost Strange Coins. The original perk instead gave an extra charge of Scorch and Energy Drain abilities.

Acquisition

• Exotic Engrams as a random drop, and extremely rare world drops.
• Xûr, the weekend vendor, sells it occasionally for 23 Legendary Shards.
• Once you own it, the Exotic Kiosk lets you reacquire a lost copy.
