History of Charged with Blight

Overview

Charged with Blight is the secondary trait on Touch of Malice, an Exotic Scout Rifle. Precision hits raise stability and reload speed and drain enemies' life force to charge a ball of Darkness. The alternate weapon action heals you and fires the charged projectile. On impact it wraps enemies in Darkness, blinding them and inflicting Corruption.

Ten precision hits give 10 stacks. The shot increases Weapons of Sorrow damage by 50%, with blind and poison for about three seconds. Reports differ on which weapons get the damage bonus: Weapons of Sorrow in one source, and Touch of Malice, Thorn, Osteo Striga and Necrochasm in another. Some guides list reload rather than the alternate action as the fire input.

The intrinsic perk, a bonus-damage last round that regenerates, is separate from this trait.
