History of Charged with Blight

Overview

Charged with Blight is the secondary trait on Touch of Malice, an Exotic Scout Rifle. Precision hits raise stability and reload speed and drain enemies' life force to charge a ball of Darkness. The alternate weapon action heals you and fires the charged projectile. On impact it wraps enemies in Darkness, blinding them and inflicting Corruption.

Sources differ on the details. Prima Games says 10 precision hits give 10 stacks and that the shot increases Weapons of Sorrow damage by 50%, plus blind and poison for about 3 seconds. Destinypedia says the damage bonus is not in the perk text and applies to Touch of Malice, Thorn, Osteo Striga and Necrochasm. Attack of the Fanboy says the fire input is reload rather than alternate action, so check the input in game. The intrinsic last-round bonus damage is separate from this trait.
