Summary

An unnamed narrator describes standing guard over someone's fragmented remains, haunted by an unrelenting heartbeat that calls them forward. This is one of the book's darker, in-universe scary-story vignettes.

How to unlock

Entries of this volume were obtained by exchanging Manifested Pages during Festival of the Lost 2023. Older volumes remain unlockable afterwards with Manifested Pages.

Notes

Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 4 (Revenant) also has chapters numbered 1-11 with the same names, but no Chapter 12. The Vol. 3 book has 32 chapters plus an Epilogue.
