History of Chaos Accelerant

Overview

Chaos Accelerant is a Warlock Aspect in the Voidwalker subclass, part of the Attunement of Chaos tree introduced in Void 3.0. Holding the grenade button channels it, which halts Super energy generation, and releasing it overcharges certain grenades. Equipping it unlocks two Fragment slots.

Overcharged grenades

• Vortex: the explosion grows in size and duration and pulls in targets.
• Axion Bolt: generates one additional seeker bolt.
• Scatter: submunitions home in on nearby enemies.
• Magnetic: becomes a Handheld Supernova.

Acquisition

Aspects are bought from Ikora Rey in the Tower courtyard. Purchases cost Glimmer, so restock at the Cryptarch first.

Pairing

The overcharged grenade effects make it a natural fit with grenade-focused Void builds, including the Echo of Undermining Fragment, which strengthens Void grenades at a Discipline cost.
