History of Changed Perspective

Overview

Changed Perspective is a Monument of Triumph vista triumph that challenges players to discover a scenic viewpoint in The Dark Forest within the European Dead Zone. It is part of the Worlds: Vistas achievement collection and encourages environmental exploration.

Completion

To complete this triumph, travel to The Dark Forest and locate the designated scenic spot. The exact vista location within the restricted sector provides a unique vantage point of the corrupted woodland landscape. Players can only access The Dark Forest during specific story mission progression.

Gameplay Context

The Dark Forest is an unaccessible restricted sector found in the EDZ, featuring a story-only environment that players traverse during campaign missions. The location is corrupted by the Taken and twisted by fragments of the Traveler's Shard. During exploration, players encounter both Fallen on initial visits and Taken forces on consecutive visits.

Rewards

Completing this triumph grants 10 Legendary Marks, which can be spent at vendors in the Tower to purchase exotic weapons, armor pieces, and cosmetics from the Monument of Triumph collection.
