Caught in the Trap is a Hunter triumph: "As a Nightstalker, defeat targets with Smoke Bomb or Trapper's Ambush."

Equip the Nightstalker subclass (Void), with the Smoke Bomb (Smoke Bomb) and Trapper's Ambush abilities.
Throw smoke into groups and score kills with it. A forum thread reports the progress is slow and that players got only 1-2 kills even when smoke hit 5-6 Thrall at a time; Bungie support asked whether direct hits are required, so direct hits on targets are the safest approach.
A player in the thread mentioned grinding at Shuro Chi on Last Wish; the kill total (possibly 500) is not confirmed.
