History of Cataphract GL3

Overview

A Legendary Strand Grenade Launcher in the Power slot, Adaptive Frame intrinsic. Curated roll: Linear Compensator, Proximity Grenades, Impulse Amplifier and Chain Reaction (elemental explosions on final blows that help ammo reserves), with Alacrity, One Quiet Moment or Omolon Fluid Dynamics origin traits.

Acquisition

Season 22 Trials weapon: earned from Trials of Osiris challenges and Saint-14's reputation/focusing. The Bungie source text lists Trials of the Nine-style rewards: complete Trials tickets and earn rank-up packages from the Emissary of the Nine (Orin) at The Third Spire. The Trials weapon pool has since rotated through Trials of Osiris and Saint-14; check in-game for the current pool. No Adept variant is listed on Destiny Game Wiki; a Wendigo GL3 Adept exists as the separate Adept Trials grenade launcher. Craftable/sunset not listed.
